Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for businesses handing over overdue accounts and for debtors who have been contacted by Dinero Collections.

For Clients

Client questions.

These questions help businesses understand what is normally needed before a matter can be actioned properly.

What information do you need to start?

We generally need debtor details, account reference, outstanding balance, supporting documents, payment history, previous correspondence and client mandate.

Can I hand over more than one account?

Yes. Dinero can assist with single matters, multiple handovers and larger account portfolios depending on the instruction.

Do you handle tracing?

Yes. Trace investigations may be used where contact details are outdated, the debtor is unreachable or new information is required for recovery decisions.

When does legal action happen?

Legal action is not automatic. It depends on documentation, legal viability, debtor response, amount outstanding and client instruction.

For Debtors

Debtor questions.

Use official Dinero channels only. Always include your reference number when contacting the office.

I received a message from Dinero. What now?

Contact Dinero through the official contact details on this website, quote your reference number and ask for balance or account information.

Can I make a payment arrangement?

You may request a payment arrangement. Arrangements remain subject to confirmation and approval by the relevant mandate.

I already paid. What must I do?

Upload proof of payment or email it to the office with your reference number so the payment can be allocated or queried.

I dispute the account. Who do I contact?

Send your dispute and supporting documents through the official contact page or complaints process so the matter can be reviewed.

Dinero Collections will never ask you to pay money into a personal bank account. If you are unsure whether communication is genuine, verify the details through the official contact page before making payment.
